Timepiece Watch Repairs was founded in 1991 by Martyn Warren. Entering the watch industry Time-Piece had a small kiosk in the Galleries shopping centre in Wigan, and have come a very long way since then and in 2009 were pleased to be able to open their eighth high street store!
The business is based around an on-the-spot service, repairing watches and clocks while customers wait or while they shop.
Timepiece Watch Repairs approached us in 2009 and were keen to expand their business from the high street to the expanding Internet market, by developing a full online store, that not only worked with their business, but expanded it by taking the products from the high street to a wider online audience. The Watches By Timepiece brand evolved! Key to the development of the online experience and new website was to ensure the visitors had an involving and user friendly visit around the store and ensure the Watches By Timepiece administration team could easily and quickly manage products within the content management system. There was also a big requirement for bespoke ongoing developments to enable the website and in-store customer touch screens to be easily updated, and for other reporting and management systems to be developed to assist in the running of the business.
We designed and developed a very contemporary online store experience, that allowed our client to easily manage products and product brands aswell as expand important parts of the website and business systems. The bespoke content management system was packed with bespoke features all designed to assist in running the business on a daily basis.
On the launch of the website we were tasked with providing an online search engine promotion strategy to give the website good coverage and to help expand the business on a long term basis. The launch of a new Magento responsive website in 2015 took things even further, as the new flexible layout meant no matter how large or small the visitors screen, the website will automatically resize to give the best viewing and user experience.
I have used Vista now for over 6 years on several projects. The guys there still have as much enthusiasm and patience for me as they did on the day they tendered for the original project. They are a joy to work with, no job too large or too small!
